This handbook was created for the use of the faculty, instructional technologists, and archivists/librarians who are participating in the COPLAC Digital Arts at a Distance (COPLACDigital) grant, funded by the Mellon Foundation. It contains information on the roles and responsibilities of grant participants, course planning and development tips and tools, and assessment tools that will help us to create a thorough report to the Mellon Foundation and to improve the effectiveness of COPLAC distance mentoring courses. We welcome suggestions for additions and changes to the handbook as we work through the pedagogical and digital skills required to teach our synchronous, team-taught, interdisciplinary digital liberal arts seminars.
